This month I am speaking on Health & Wellness and the importance of how powerful a woman is to self and others. Spring Forward with Fresh Energy

THE BODY

As a Life Coach, I love the importance of focusing on health and wellness.  Now that it is spring, I have gained so much fresh energy to exercise more after a hard day of work. It actually relaxes me in a way that is indescribable, and gives me strength and power that I mentally and physically need as I train to conquer a new day.  A Proverbs 31 Woman is one who: “Sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks”. When I read this I thought, “Now why would they describe a woman’s arms as her strength for her tasks?” Scientifically, it makes sense because we have to carry so much in our arms all the time. When I go to the gym, I really do not like doing weights because personally, I worry about looking bulky. However, when I research all the purposes for arms, I realized some facts:  

“You Will Be Physically Stronger: Increasing your strength will make you far less dependent upon others for assistance in daily living. Chores will be easier, lifting kids, groceries, and laundry will no longer push you to the max. If your maximum strength is increased, daily tasks and routine exercise will be far less likely to cause injury. Research studies conclude that even moderate weight training can increase a woman’s strength by 30 to 50 percent. Research also shows that women can develop their strength at the same rate as men”.

Every time I think about the definition of a Proverbs 31 Woman, it is characterized by women who exude wisdom, strength, and perseverance.

Fresh Energy Formula for MBS

  1. Remove the word Diet and replace it with Lifestyle. Learn to have a regimen that will keep you on a realistic path.
  2. Use breathing techniques. Learn to take deep breaths. It will put your mind in a more focused mode of intentional inhalation and exhalalation. (My watch helps me to remember to take deep breaths throughout the day).
  3. Remove the alcohol intake. It reduces energy and the desire to workout and eat healthy.
  4. Use electronics to your advantage. Take them with you on your walks at the park or in the gym to distract you from your task.
  5. Health awareness: Your DE-ODOR-ant choice can affect your body chemistry. Try using natural products, if you have not done so and see how you like them.
  6. Take time to relax your mind with your favorite scent and sound (music).
  7. Soul Search by writing in your journal.
