Dealing with Spiritual Hurt

How did you land in that location? Your GPS (God Positioning System) didn’t warn you about that locality, you didn’t see it coming, did you? It appeared like excessive weight that’s suddenly seen while sashaying past a mirror. You’ve done all the right things like attending church, dragging yourself to mid-week services, praying without ceasing, donating your time, attention, money, participating in programs and other time-consuming activities, yet and still “It” happened, spiritual abuse. Everybody likes you, right? Now, that is quite questionable. You may feel disregarded, insulted, unappreciated, and even weary.

When it comes to your belief system, be in control and responsible for your own emotions, affirmations, and self-confirmations. Spiritual abuse occurs when you have not properly protected the eyes & ear gates of your heart, because what they absorb, shapes & creates your perceptions. Spiritual abuse is a cold-calculated close relative to carbon monoxide. It’s odorless, colorless and affects your vision, hearing, and sense of smell. It’s tasteless, but oh so deadly!

Hope offers a mighty anecdote to maintain spiritual health and wellness. There are 9 points that impacts every aspect of our lives. These points create and catapult “maintainable equilibrium” to the forefront while reintegrating “practice” back into practical. These Points of Impact are: vision, voice, value, options, opportunities, obsessions, word, wisdom, and worship. Three important goals collaborating with the 9 points are:

Enlightenment to awaken & sharpen your insight

Empowerment to take action & be proactive

Encouragement to keep moving forward & be progressive

Remember, when navigating through life’s peaks and transitions, be strategic & consider your location, purpose, and most importantly, never relinquish your power.
