Dr. Haidi Badawi, Co-Founder of the global platform, Women Heart to Heart

FWM: Your life mission has been to advocate for women’s inclusion, diversity, and multiculturalism. What sparked your love for humanity?

At the age of seven, I used to accompany my dad in his global humanitarian travels and helping people in need. He was a talented Medical Doctor who taught me the deepest values of international mindedness, assisting people, charity missions and looking for love and beauty of helping others by reaching a great satisfaction of happiness. Since then, I have been investing a lot of time in my early leadership skills to lead and help others in need. Now I am so proud after all these years to be a global Goodwill Ambassador who tries to serve in a worldwide mission all people I can reach to have a better and safe world. The closest humanitarian act to my heart and the one I stand for loud and proud right now and I want to leave a legacy in is women With Disabilities voice.

How have you created opportunities for women?

I always believe in women empowerment impacts in creating a better world for all. By establishing and founding Enabling women networks and groups. I successfully reached 10000 women through these various Australian, African, and Global networks. On early 2020 my efforts were much recognized by Women Economic forum by having a title A GOODWILL AMBASSADOR OF MISSION MILLION, A recognition for succeeding in influencing directly 1000 women leaders and entrepreneurs to be a part in a global mission million women in solidarity 2022 organized by ALL LADIES LEAGUE and Women Economic Forum.

You have built bridges for women between developed (Western Societies) and developing countries (Africa) Share your initiatives.

As a Chair of Coaching and Mentoring under the umbrella of Women economic forum, I have been reaching nearly 10000 women of impact who are leaders and entrepreneurs

These exceptional women networks allowed me in having vibrant discussions, webinars, affirmations, creating articles, working on sustainable developmental goal 5 and creating various opportunities for women empowerment resources. I am also the Co-Founder of the wowed group of women leaders it’s a Victorian/Australian multicultural leadership group where we had an excellent start-up help from the Australian Government to build a robust women community group of change. Also as a Director/CO Chair of Australian Chapter of global goodwill Ambassador and Global Communication team member ( GGA 17,000 member globally) I always advocate for women, young girls, and the power of gender equity in leadership. Global Goodwill ambassadors. It’s uniting humanitarians around the world by recognizing volunteers who devote their time to help in making the world a better place. People from every nation, color and socioeconomic caste who do goodwill towards others.

FWM: What would people be surprised to know about you?

People will be surprised about knowing that I am a scientist before having a career shift to humanitarian work and leadership career. It’s always nice when you can work on developing both parts of your brain left and right and to be diverse even in your way of thinking.

FWM: As a Coach and Mentor, you work with various global boards and International African and Australian Networks. What are some of the challenges that your clients are facing in 2020?

There are enormous challenges in 2020 in terms of Board representation, we still asking and negotiating for equity and diversity in boards, millennial representation. There is always a gender and age challenges in Coaching and high exec level representation. I hope with the solidarity of women and their loud global voice, we can break this stigma and start to see fair go to us all as young millennial women in Australia/Africa and the whole globe. I also want to see more women with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills represented in each board and decision making places, it’s the skills of present and future and much needed in girls and women education, work, and leadership opportunities.

FWM: You received the “Iconic women creating a better world for all” award. What are you most proud of?

I am proud of this honorable award as it came from the Egyptian Government and Women Economic forum under the auspices of the Egyptian president. Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All/ Iconic Leaders Creating a Better World for All: This award is for upcoming leaders who with their entrepreneurial spirit and creative actions and attitudes are bringing in the much needed soft power to bring cultures and countries closer in friendship and exchange. FWM: Tell us about your global platform, Women Heart to Heart. What are your goals? How can we join?

I am a proud Co-Founder member, an Ambassador and future learning group moderator at Women H2H. Women Heart-to-Heart (Women H2H) is a global online community of women leaders, change-makers, and influencers working in rapidly changing environments who understand the unique role of women today at work. They may be overwhelmed by change at work, frustrated with conflicts or disheartened by office politics, drama, and draining emotions. Or they may be inspired to co-create the more beautiful workplaces we all long for and intuitively know it’s too hard and too lonely to do that on their own.

Here we inspire and elicit each other to master together how to get back our zest, thrive on change, lead with grace and confidence and live the life of our dreams as we transform ourselves and build the more beautiful, balanced, and inclusive workplaces we all long for.
