We had an opportunity to learn more about her story and how she got started. Listen in…..

FWM: Who is Lakisha Irby at her core?

Lakisha: LaKisha Irby at her core is a passionate, hard working individual who is a lover of life.

FWM: What has ignited this flame of passion in you to help so many others?

Lakisha: My  passion to help others stems from wanting to see others win with me. If you win, I win. If you’re successful, then I’m successful.

FWM: Tell us more about your ministry/businesses.

Lakisha: All of my businesses are ministries. I don’t stand behind a pulpit, but I am an ordained minister. I own an early childhood facility along with my sister, a home care and concierge agency, a logistics company, and I’m a certified business coach. Each business provides solutions to the community we serve. Some businesses were started out of simple obedience. So many ask God to increase their territory, but when you’re obedient over the small, God can trust you in plenty.

Lakisha Irby Is Making Major Moves

FWM: Where do you see yourself in the next 2 years? 5 years?

Lakisha: I see myself within the next few years a best selling author and empowerment speaker. I see myself with multiple successful companies, and last but not least, a family.

FWM: What’s next for Lakisha personally?

Lakisha: What’s next for me personally is to become an author.

FWM: What is the greatest lesson that you have learned in ministry/business?

Lakisha: The greatest lesson I have learned is to do your research before getting into anything. Rather in ministry or in business, find out the requirements and if you don’t have the knowledge to be successful in your pursuits, then hire the professionals.

FWM: What advice would you give to that person who’s business is no doing so great and wants to give up?

The advice I would give a person whose business isn’t doing well is to understand that any successful business isn’t a microwave process. It takes time and consistency. I would encourage them to find someone who is successful in that very business to model their practices in addition to hiring a consultant that is also successful in that same area of business.
