FINDING YOUR TOP, BOTTOM, & VIBE

LOCKDOWN BLUES

Some of us are going on lockdown or may have never came off of lockdown. You’ve decorated your living space to be a sight to see, since that’s the only thing you see.

But, now its the holidays and what you and your environment look and feels like is important. You are also itching to wear something …. fly!

In Part 1 We are going to talk tops and bottoms, Part 2 We dive deep into dresses and accessories, Part 3 We put together our pieces to create our Formidable looks.

So I hope you are ready to create your “Perfect Winter Living Room Outfit with Accessories!”

YOU WANT TO BE CUTE AND COMFORTABLE

One thing I know for sure too, is that you can be cute and comfortable know matter where you are.

THE WANTING IS STRONGER

You can agree that with me… when I say spending the holidays with family and having the chance to wear your best threads is an epic time.
So, let’s talk about having the “Perfect Winter Living Room Outfit with Accessories!”

I GOT WHAT YOU WANT

The first piece to any “Perfect Winter Living Room Outfit with Accessories” is your top. Cashmere, soft cotton, and silk are the go to fabrics of choice. This will give you a feel of warmth.
As for the style go for the classic V neck, camisole blouse, or cardigan.

V-Neck Sweater Options work well for many different shapes

Camisoles are good for layered looks

Wear your cardigan alone or with a camisole top underneath.

These are also classics styles that you can find in your closet. Especially if you want to keep your coins.
Oh! I can’t help to also mention that when picking your look, remember “It’s a Vibe”, your vibe.

LET’S MATCH THAT ENERGY

The second, but as important is your bottom. There are three options: shorts, pants, and skirts

SHOW YOUR LEGS

Shorts are perfect with a stocking underneath. This way you can wear heels or put on a cozy pair of socks.

Leather and wool blended shorts

FIT AND FLATTER

As for skirts, I would definitely opt in for an A-Line cut no matter my body shape (yes, it’s that figure flattering).

Long A-Line skirts should hit just at or below your knee

Shorter A-Line skirts are great if you are small on top

ENTERTAIN YOURSELF

If you know there are going to be guests you want to go for a more fitting skirt, then a soft thick cotton. Tweed and wool are also great options.

Thicker fabrics can help camouflage your stomach

YES… THERE IS A DIFFERENCE

Let’s talk pants. Leggings and stretch pants. These are usually the two we gravitate towards anyway. This year we are going to put a spin on things.

When going for the Legging option, choose the soft leather or stretch pant. This way you can walk, stretch, bend and eat all the food that feel good to you.

Leather pants are comfy and give you bad girl vibes

As for pants, choose stretch with cotton (level up from a legging and the comfortability of sweats). These are some of my favorite “Perfect Winter Living Room pants.”

Pants that have stretch are great weight transition pants as well
You can dress stretch pants up with a heel or down with a sneaker!

HOW CAN YOU MAKE THIS WERK FOR YOU

The reason this is a 3 Part series is because it doesn’t come easy for some of us. We want to put dope pieces together, or wear what we see on the screen or in magazines. Yet, we get stuck with how can it work for me.

We get stuck on how to put it all together to make a Formidable Look fit for your style.
So my goal is to give you options, and ways to find similar pieces in your closet if you have to.

By the end of this series I want you to walk away with at least one look or style you can build upon. Not just for the holidays, but everyday

That’s my gift to you!

LETS KEEP ROLLING

Let’s keep this enthusiasm going. And head over to part two of “Perfect Winter Living Room Outfit with Accessories” Series. we are going to discuss the perfect dresses for your shape and accessories fit for a Formidable Boss like you.
