Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, Renowned Life Coach- What’s Next for 2021?

Dr. Cheyenne Bryant is a Psychology Expert, renowned Life Coach, the President of NAACP; branch #1069 and Founder of Dr. Bryant Institute.

FWM: Your passion for healing, encouraging, and empowering others led you to become a much sought after life coach. Share your background.

My passion for healing, helping others, and becoming a sought out Life Coach stems from my own personal healing journey. Going from a broken little girl to a broken adult I had to figure out how to make peace out of my broken “pieces.” Once, I arrived to a place I call “Gods Peace” I had to share it with the world.

FWM: What are trends that you are seeing? How are you helping clients today?

Trends I’m seeing are depression & anxiety. People are more prone to mental health disorders than ever in history. Substance abuse is at an all time high. On a positive note, people are seeking out mental health treatment more now than ever. The stigma around “therapy” is dismissing. People are realizing the severity of obtaining help and the effectiveness of therapy.

FWM: You have been called an overachiever. Is there synergy between being an overachiever and the quest for psychology?

I believe anyone who seeks to be better than they are is an overachiever. There may be some synergy between being an overachiever and psychology such as the desire to continuously grow and help others grow.

FWM: Share challenges that you faced on the road to success.

One of the challenges on my road to success was loneliness. The healing journey is a very personal one that includes isolation. It requires your full attention and awareness. Another challenge was trusting the process and embracing the uncertainty of the “new” me.

FWM: Tell us about your award-winning Readers Favorite Five-Star book, “Mental Detox.” Share a favorite passage.

Mental Detox is my first book; my baby! Mental Detox teaches the reader how to detox their mind of negative thinking and replace them with positive thoughts that will create the circumstances they want. I use the garden metaphor; teaching the reader how to plow out weeds and rodents, and replace them with beautiful Lilly’s and roses with no thorns. I hold the readers hand from beginning to end, while they plow out and plant the seeds they want to harvest.

FWM: As the President of NAACP, branch #1069, what is your vision for 2021. Share initiatives.

As the President of NAACP branch #1069 my vision for 2021 is to close the health care disparity gap in the Black community. Improve the social economics by creating jobs, Black businesses, and Black home ownership. Create effective community youth programs. Modify law enforcement so that we have more community policing and not just enforcement of the law.

FWM: What is the best advice that you ever received?

The best advice, I’ve ever received is stay true to yourself! Be authentic. Follow your heart it somehow already knows what you want.

FWM: Tell us about the Dr. Bryant Foundation. How are you inspiring others?

Dr. Bryant Foundation Corp. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to provide resources to youth, families, and communities in need. Dr. Bryant Foundation was founded in 2016. Organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes, specifically to assist the disadvantage with living a better quality of life by providing programs, clothing, food, school supplies, computers, education, life tools, and exposure to career opportunities.

FWM: What do you want your legacy to be?

If I can change or save one life on my journey than I’ve done by job. When someone can look across the room at me and say, “You see that woman over there. She changed my life!” That’s my legacy!
