FWM: Dr. Pugh, I am so excited about this interview! Please introduce yourself and your ministry.

Dr. CP: My name is Dr. Crystal Pugh. I am a native of Boynton Beach Florida, currently residing in Columbus Georgia. I am the tenth child of 9 other siblings. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters, Tracey and Rontier. I am first generation pastor and evangelist. I am a two-time breast cancer survivor. This is the journey that brought a mandated charge for me to preach the gospel. Out of this, Crystal Pugh Ministries was birthed. God has given me “Beauty For Ashes” for the restoring of His Glory Back to the church. Crystal Pugh Ministries is also the umbrella to CAFE Women’s Ministry and S.W.A.G (Spiritual Women Achieving Greatness) that is not just limited to the four walls, but to market place ministry as well.

FWM: How long have you been in ministry?
Dr. CP: I have been in ministry for over 20 years

FWM: Has there been many obstacles for you as a woman in ministry?

Dr. CP: Yes, Definitely!!! There have been many obstacles. The majority of my obstacles have been from the resistance of individuals not accepting the fact that I have been called by God to preach the gospel. I have experienced and overcome verbal attacks, hardships, rejection, lied on, talked about, slighted, used, gifts prostituted by both men and women in ministry, and envied due to being anointed, beautiful, and powerful. I can go on and on. Women can be put in a hard place due to religiosity and traditionalism. I thank God that I am not your average woman of the cloth. #NotYourAverage

FWM: I know you wear many hats. What keeps you motivated?

Dr. CP: Many hats it is! Being the CEO and Founder of Crystal Pugh Ministries, Coujae Beauty Boutique, Posh Coverings, Coujae Boss Services Co, the author of two books, a songwriter, revivalist, conference speaker…….I am motivated by what people say I cannot do. My dreams and goals are before me and I am determined to accomplish them all.

FWM: What keeps you spiritually grounded?

Dr. CP: What keeps me spiritually grounded is prayer and consistently reading the word of God. I am also held accountable by both my spiritual parents and mentors. I surround myself with likeminded individuals that are spiritually grounded as well.

FWM: How is your ministry impacting women and your community?

Dr. CP: My ministry is impacting women of all walks of life. The healing and deliverance ministry challenges and enlighten women of God and women who are called by God to operate in the spirit of excellence united with destiny and purpose. To become a driving force of change due to real life experiences. To become the next trailblazer on the cutting edge. The community is challenged to embrace, cultivate, and encourage women whose sole purpose is to “Cry Loud And Spare Not.” Isaiah 58:1

FWM: What is your favorite Bible verse?

Dr. CP: My favorite bible verse is Psalm 118:17 “I Shall Live And Not Die, To Declare the Word Of the Lord.”

FWM: What advice would you give your younger self?

Dr. CP: I would advise my younger self not to give into what other’s may think of you. Never allow someone else’s insecurities make you dull yourself down nor dumb yourself down. Understand the difference of someone liking the idea of you verses the authentic you. Follow your dreams and master the art of your God given purpose.

FWM: What is coming up in 2020 for Dr. Crystal Pugh?

Dr. CP: I have several projects in the making for 2020. I am excited about being branded and the ministry is getting a complete makeover. I will be launching my Facebook Live teaching in January. There are several conferences on the horizon and the birthing of a powerful book on healing. I am thanking God in advance for more bookings. 2020 is definitely a year of parallel alignment for me. #PreachGirl
