From an early age, Jenna has been passionate about skincare and felt the beauty industry was somewhere she could make waves in. She went on to create her own unique treatment that would deliver real results for real people – Million Dollar Facial was born. FMM: When did you believe that the beauty industry was your passion?
For as far back as I can remember, I’ve always been passionate about beauty and skincare. I’ve always loved making people feel confident in their skin.
FWM: Share your background from salon owner to mogul.
I originally started offering mobile beauty treatments and juggling becoming a mother. With grit and determination, I opened my first salon in November 2015 in bustling Liverpool. Within 3 months of opening, the business had outgrown the space. After attending training courses and seminars myself, I felt there was something still missing in helping others in the industry develop their skills and offering bespoke skincare treatments to their clients. I seized the opportunity to create my treatment protocols, combining dermaplaning and microneedling to significantly enhance the results that could be delivered in a facial treatment with the ethos of ‘everyone deserves to feel like a million dollars. It’s now very empowering to see other businesses owners thrive from a treatment I’ve created and they have added to their service offering.
FWM: The Million Dollar Facial is pioneering a new treatment that combines science and ultimate indulgence. Tell us more.
The Million Dollar Facial is a 10 step treatment designed to deeply exfoliate dead skin cells, remove hair, polish the skin, flush toxins then increase our natural collagen and cell turnover. It is the main treatment in our 10 x treatment protocols that make up our Million dollar system. Within 6 months of the official launch, Million Dollar Facial had 18 trainers around the UK delivering training courses, now they have over 2800 qualified Platinum.
FWM: Technicians in over 30 countries around the globe. What do you contribute to your success?
A strong network and passion. Being in my customer’s shoes, I was a salon owner and started in beauty treatments, I was exposed to the power of skincare. I wanted to create a family network for my students so they had continuous support, guidance, and up-to-date knowledge, to grow as professionals. As the business grew this then allowed me to then work closely with a skincare developer that could help take the business to new heights. I found a manufacturer that would help me develop a product range specifically for my treatments. It’s backed by clinical research that supports the objectives I set. I spend a lot of time picking up on the latest research and developments that are exciting the industry, talking to our manufacturer and together we look at how we can continuously enhance the collection o formulate new products. We create new promotional material for our technicians weekly and offer ongoing support and guidance.
FWM: What challenges did you face when scaling your business?
Businesses want to grow quickly and Million Dollar Facial was no exception, growing quickly is great but we have to ensure the growth is sustainable. Plans must be fluid and goals have to be set, but as a business, we have to ensure that we also have the correct team around us. Everyone sees the bigger picture and knows their part in getting there. Our biggest challenge was improving whilst growing at such a rapid rate.
FWM: What does Million Dollar Facial offer? What do people love about the products?
We work with your skin from the outside in and our treatments have been designed to deeply exfoliate, polish the skin, flush toxins and stimulate our natural collagen turnover. We target a variety of skin concerns such as fine lines, hyper-pigmentation, sun damage, and dehydration in one treatment.
Our Million dollar system includes 10 x different Million dollar protocols which gives our Technicians and their clients the choice to follow the correct individual treatment plan after a thorough skin analysis. This gives our Million dollar technicians the opportunity to treat a variety of their clients skin conditions.

FWM: How is your new product, Medi+ Niacinamist a game-changer for acne sufferers?

FWM: What is next for you in 2021?
We have have finally launched our Million dollar chemical peels which we have worked on for a long time and the reception has been fantastic. We’re going to keep learning! now more than ever that brands must be adaptable, and we’re using this time to carry out market research to ensure we’re listening to our customers, continually meeting their needs and leading thedirection in skincare trends.
