FWM: How are you transforming lives and building dreams in your community?

We are transforming lives and building dreams in our communities by first transforming and renewing minds. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. You first have to believe that all things are possible regardless of the circumstance things are subject to change. Secondly it all starts with a vision, writing it down so that you will have a blueprint to fulfilling your dreams. Dream It. Plan It. Execute It.

FMW: What has been your life long dream and how have you made it a reality?

My life long dream has been to become an entrepreneur and travel the world. It has not been an easy journey but worth it all. With every great accomplishment there will always be obstacles you must overcome. My obstacle was breaking the cycle of poverty through entrepreneurship. I fulfilled my dream 19 years ago starting my not-for-profit organization IDTCA by serving others. I believe what you make happen for others God will make happen for you.

You are the CEO of the International Dream Team Christian Association, Inc. (IDTCA). Tell us about your programs and dreams for 2020. Yes I have been blessed to serve as the Chief Dream Officer for IDTCA for 19 years. Our plans for 2020 is to provide more services in Small Business Development, Economic Empowerment, and Financial Literacy Education. My dreams for 2020 shifted a little bit after the COVID-19 pandemic. I began to see the conditions of our global economy and felt strongly that something needed to be done. So I plan to launch my new business venture called The Economic Hub.

FWM: As a Social Entrepreneur, what are some of the trends that you are seeing today?

As a social entrepreneur some of the trends that I am seeing today are that more women are seeking entrepreneurship. There are more women becoming CEO’s and driving our economy through the success of their woman-owned businesses.

FWM: Share your best piece of advice for women wanting to become Entrepreneurs.

The best piece of advice I can give a woman in wanting to become an entrepreneur is it’s our time. Follow your heart and go for it! Entrepreneurship is a calling. It is not for the faint and heart but for those who have endurance. There is someone awaiting your business to be the solution in solving their problem.

FWM: What is the greatest lesson that you have learned?

The greatest lesson I have learned is to always remain true to myself, staying focused on my destined path because there are many distractions that are there to keep me from following my own dreams.

With the pandemic, how are you helping with recovery efforts? We are helping with the recovery efforts by bringing hope, words of inspiration, financial resources, programs, and services.

FWM: What is next for you?

What’s next for me is my new business venture that I am so excited about called The Economic Hub. The Economic Hub is a movement of economic reformers arising to make a change in our economic system.
