FWM: You are an international speaker and adviser on personal and corporate transformation. Share your background.

I am Singaporean, currently living in Malaysia now. I started my conference organizing business back in 1997 and lost the business during SARs in 2002. After overcoming major financial and emotional challenges during business difficulties in 2002-2005, I started working with individuals as a personal coach to coach and empower them to take personal action to transform themselves and their lives.

During the challenging years, I discovered 2 types of people. The first type is the type that, even after knowing that I am growing through challenges, they say hurtful things and create more obstacles in my life. I also met another type of person who just wants to offer help, good words, and kindness and not expect anything back in the return. I told myself at that time, “When I get out of this mess, I will become that second type of person”. That was when the message of LOVE & RESPECT started and I have been sharing the message since 2007 to corporates and individuals. Instilling the values of LOVE & RESPECT for positive change within the person and also for the organization.

Tell us about your work involving conducting training from government bodies, multinational corporations, SMEs.

I started as early as 2005 in corporate training (where being trained and certified to be a beauty workshop specialist) training on grooming, skincare, personal care, and makeup programs to many corporations, institutions, and individuals alike. I wanted to help people look great and feel great by gaining more self-confidence and attraction through motivation, inspiration, and proper advice on inner and outer personal image.

The training work also led me to speak at conferences and be an emcee at events. Some of her clients for personal grooming and makeup include Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Westin Hotel, Pan Pacific Hotel, Marina Mandarin Hotel, Damansara Specialist Hospital, National University Hospital of Singapore, Tawakal Hospital, KPJ Hospitals, Penang State Government, Trengganu State Government, Johnson & Johnson, and TH Travel. Between the years 2005-2007, she has also trained teenagers from the Secondary Schools in Singapore on proper grooming and etiquette, how to gain confidence, and public speaking skills as well as given talks of having a healthy lifestyle.

Due to much inner work for grooming executives, my work brought me to help people heal internally through forgiveness and letting go of trauma, toxic memories, and emotions so that they can be better professionals, leaders, community leaders. That also brought me to work with refugees, sex workers, marginalized communities, prison inmates, and soldiers to release negative emotions so they can start to re-do or live their lives more positively.

I am a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner and a certified life coach recognised by the American Board of NLP, NBPES and NLP University (USA). I am also a certified Advanced Law of Attraction Practitioner issued by Global Sciences Foundation (USA). I am also trained in the areas of Accelerated Learning and whole being learning to achieve better education for participants. Murshidah is a Certified Advanced Law of Attraction Practitioner.

“I work with businesses, startups, new business owners who aim to create a sustainable business that does good for the people, planet, and the economy.”

FWM: What are your strengths as a transformation coach?

My superpower is drawing out the individual’s superpower. So that the person will know their God-given gifts that they are meant to use and add value to the world and to the people in it. I work with my clients holistically. I will with people and corporates alike on the WHOLE BEING concept ie incorporating the interconnection of body, mind, heart and spirit. Even the skills based programs I conduct include the emphasis on the spirit which is hardly addressed in most corporate and management trainings.

FWM: During the pandemic, you created a community-based mentorship online helping startups, business owners, and entrepreneurs globally to create a sustainable income online, with a social impact, to earn $5000-$20,000 within 30-90 days. Tell us about the program.

I work with businesses, startups, new business owners who aim to create a sustainable business that does good for the people, planet, and the economy. We work on a 90-day goal to get to their first $5000-$20,000 monthly goal while also doing good.

The community platform I started is called Leave a Legacy Conscious Business Community (that I started with my husband and co-founder Zeal Zainuddin). For the women in my community, I have an additional platform called the FEMININE LEADERSHIP COMMUNITY BY MURSHIDAH SAID where women business owners are supported to lead through Feminine Leadership while using their Business as a force for good.

The members in the high vibe community support one another, create masterminds, get visibility both online and offline and get mentored to grow and develop their business in the new normal and to be anti-fragile in any possible crisis. Those who are keen to join will get on a call to see if they are suited in the community. To know more, they can book a call here:

FWM: THE POWER OF GIVING and LOVE & RESPECT are key messages you use. Tell us more.

They are the laws of the Universe that are in all of our messages in the training, and coaching programs. The law of giving states that the more you give, the more you will receive.

So, Giving is part of the values, we encourage our clients to instill in their business models. That is the way their business will keep growing when they are also contributing back to the planet and people.

LOVE is the highest energy within the human. With LOVE, a person can do amazing things. So this is what we train people to go back to. When there is LOVE within, the work reflects that, the products and services rendered will reflect that, the culture of the organization will reflect that, However, LOVE Must come with RESPECT, otherwise, there will be communication breakdowns and chaos too. So the RESPECT is the guidelines, ethics, SOPs, and structure. And to get to LOVE & RESPECT, one must constantly be in a state of FORGIVENESS, GRATITUDE and GIVING. That is where the heart will be in a state of LOVE & RESPECT.

FWM: Share success stories of you helping entrepreneurs to increase profits and business impact through creating a sustainable Social Enterprise unit within their businesses.

From our community these are just some examples :

Aisha Anwar, potion master and essential oil specialist, has grown her business connections in the USA and making over $5K months. She also contributes to the training of low-income women to heal and earn income.

Huda Hamid, Online Strategist and the founder of Fempreneur Secrets, has won the Singapore International Foundation’s Pitch for Change, a grant given to Social Entrepreneurs, and has helped women around the world to be business savvy online.

There are many other women who have stepped into leadership roles in their businesses and organizations too. To know more, you can join in our Feminine Leadership Community meetups and meet all the women who have transformed their lives and others through business.

FWM: What are some of the trends/challenges you are seeing?

Climate change issues, environmental issues, and financial crisis due to pandemic and widening income gaps, food crisis, gaps in knowledge and education between the have and have-nots in the world, rising mental health issues and addiction to devices. So when businesses come together to resolve these while creating an economy that can raise the livelihoods for the poor, the world will be a more loving space to live in.
