Nikki Gal on Breaking Grounds in the Digital Design Industry

The digital design industry is an innovative yet ongoing one- it never stops. Nikki Gal never stops, too. Since leaving the fashion industry of her career as a fashion model in 2018, Gal wanted to create more for herself and her future. As a 24 year old entrepreneur, public speaker, and mental health advocate Gal’s journey has only just begun. Launching her custom digital design company See Thru Nikki in early 2019 was unexpected, yet a necessary direction. Fast forward to 2022, Gal has gained over 4,000 clients sharing a passion for her artwork, and over 2 million impressions via social media.

In June 2020, Gal launched a dedicated art piece in honor of the #sayhername movement, the women who lost their lives due to police brutality and racial injustice. Knowing that she was speaking through her art on this matter while also spreading the necessary awareness and education was one of her proudest moments as an artist. That one piece gained over 8 million social media impressions worldwide, while also catching the attention of American actresses Tracee Ellis Ross, Marisa Tomei, Amber Riley, Zoë Kravitz, music talent Sheila E., Ice Cube, Afropunk, as well as American author and anti-racist activist, Ibram X. Kendi. See Thru Nikki has also made appearances in ABC’s Morning Program Good Morning America, Page Six, as well as People Magazine.

In her personal life, she still enjoys creating, but with a firm purpose. In 2021, she began her nonprofit and mental health advocacy podcast Raw Talk with Nikki Gal, reaching over 5 listening platforms worldwide resulting in publishing over 120 interviews hitting listeners from over 40 countries. Raw Talk has become a diary for women and herself to share the non-filtered and the unapologetic raw conversations within us all. “Know your truth and create yourself,” she says. “I want to encourage women to express themselves unapologetically with no limitation, we as women need to stick together.” With a background in fashion, she is launching her new intimates brand in October, Gal Intimates. Her plan is to not only switch her role from model to designer, but to also share the powerful message of multi-faceted women entrepreneurship. No dream is ever too small, dreams only work until you do. Gal’s wishes for the future include reaching more women within the mental health community, climbing and reaching her entrepreneur goals, as well as spreading the power of expressive creativity in our world.
