Stacia Mac: Mogul and Manager to her son Polo G, the Hottest Rapper of 2020

From mother, to manager and mogul, Stacia Mac has forged a path to success for herself, and her son Polo G, who is one of the hottest rappers of 2020. With no prior knowledge of the music industry, Stacia helped turn her son’s pain into passion and ultimately launched a career that continues to reach new heights daily. Her popular platform, “I Birth Legends” is community of matriarchs and their seeds. “Momagers.” This year she will also release her book, “I Birth Legends – A Guide To Molding Legendary Children. It helps parents assist their children on their personal and professional journey.

FWM: You are a Mogul and Manager to your son, Polo G, who is one of the hottest rappers of 2020. What has 2020 taught you?

2020 taught me that although the plan may change, the destination remains the same. On the path to success, 2020 and its perils placed everyone in uncharted territory. I couldn’t halt my pursuits. I simply pivoted and adjusted with the times.

FWM: How did your experience in property management pave your way to the entertainment business?

Many core principles are interchangeable between property management and entertainment management. Creating a strong foundation, remaining organized, and creating a fluid business structure are all things that I implemented from my property management experience, and ultimately, I was able to transfer application to the entertainment industry.

FWM: 2020 has been an incredible year for Polo G, with his song, “Die A Legend,” certified platinum and “The Goat” debuted at #2 in the Billboards. What advice do you give him about success?

2020 was indeed incredible for Polo professionally. My advice to him this year is the same as every year. Stay true to yourself. Value quality over quantity. Give your craft your all and reap the return on investment.

FWM: Your Management company, ODA- Only Dreamers Achieve works with creatives, ranging from talent to photographers, makeup artists, and influencers. Tell us about your company. What will people notice about working with you?

ODA management is my baby (laughs). ODA allows me to do what I love to do – work with amazing talent and help them propel their brand. It’s a safe and honest space. I give them knowledge on brand building so that they can make informed decisions. I also give them unabridged constructive criticism. People will notice when working with me that I have a philosophy of care but I’m very honest and direct.

FWM: What is your mantra as it applies to your work?

Failure is not an option.

FWM: Tell us about “I Birth Legends” a platform for other “Momagers.”

“I Birth Legends,” is a community of matriarchs and their seeds. We pay homage to those who have and will mold the greats of our times. A lot of times you look at the entrepreneur, athlete and/or artist and you wonder about their childhood. I spotlight the mothers who were instrumental in his/her growth. The “I Birth Legends” podcast is available on Spotify and YouTube.

FWM: Share your personal/business goals for 2020.

Professionally, as I close out 2020, I’m working on building a production company. My vision is for ODA to be the hub for all things entertainment. A production company aligns with this vision.

This year I will also release my book, “I Birth Legends – A Guide To Molding Legendary Children. It helps parents assist their children on their personal and professional journey.

Personally, my goal is to continue pouring into my family. Aiding them to achieve happiness in their pursuits – that brings me pure joy.
