FWM: You have been mentoring and coaching women towards emotional freedom for years. When did your passion to help others heal begin?

I have always been passionate about helping others all my life, although it took years of self-discovery to eventually narrow it down to helping through emotional healing.  I remember when I was 5 going home from pre-school without a jersey and it was cold, I had given it to a girl in my class who did not have one.  When my mum asked what had happened to my jersey I told her I had given it away to a girl who did not have one.  She had to explain that I should not take off what I’m wearing but should give extra clothes from home, after talking to her of course.  The memory has stuck with me as is was a profound moment in my journey of giving and making others comfortable.  As the years progressed, I then realized that I was drawn to the emotional wellbeing of others, so I studied psychology and other forms of therapy such as clay, play, art, Gestalt, hypnosis therapies.  My own personal journey has also played a vital role in shaping me as a healer.  From living with an autoimmune disease, being diagnosed with cervical cancer, endometriosis, being deaf at some point, having a hysterectomy, having 14 surgical operations, being abused and getting divorced; all these experiences have empowered me to relate to so many people facing life challenges, understand them and most importantly I am kinder, more loving and patient. I believe my entire life has been preparing me for this healing journey that I’m on right now.

FWM: What is an Emotional Alchemist?

An Emotional Alchemist is an intuitive spiritual emotional healer.  I perform nothing short of magic in connecting with my clients and then guiding them into holistic healing which translates to holistic living.  The areas of focus for my healing process are generational traumas and inner child traumas.  I believe when we free ourselves from generational trauma bondages and heal our childhood, we become unstoppable and the greatness we can achieve is just astounding.  Because I am an intuitive and spiritual healer it means I am cognizant of the fact that healing a lifetime of trauma takes a lifetime of healing, therefore I am particular about the clients I take on and compatibility is important for the success of the process.

FWM: Throughout your work, who has inspired you the most?

My greatest inspiration has to be my late mother, she was passionate, business savvy, very kind, forgiving, prayerful, funny, extremely intelligent, an all-around bad ass.  Other women have also played a huge part in inspiring me, women like Shonda Rhimes, Adora Kisting, Patience Chiyangwa, my friends Gertrude, Sharlene, Christy, Thandi, Prisca, Cleopatra, and my former teachers Sihle Dube and Fortune Moyo.

FWM: Share your vision for 2023.

This year I am curating a Kukomezya women’s retreat, {a Tonga – one of Zimbabwe’s indigenous languages – word meaning nurturing}.  It will be held in October thus giving us time to thoroughly prepare and for the ladies to save and psychologically prepare themselves for the experience of their lives We are also collaborating with some brilliant people to produce a theatrical play. I am excited about launching a number of books that have been in the making or writing for theist couple of years .I am so ready to sign up more clients for the holistic transformation journey of their lives .Above all I am going to be more intentional about loving myself and others, being my own peace and for others, and spreading light in all the emotionally dark spaces I come across.
