Her Majesty, Queen Amb. Dr. Uba Iwunwa “Queen of Peace”

FWM: Your Excellency, we are in Women’s History Month. What do you want people to know about your important work as the “Queen of Peace?”

“QUEEN OF PEACE” is a lightworker. It’s a commemoration of my years of active global humanitarian service preaching peace through creativity; my songs for peace, acting in peace movies, writing tales to promote peace and in my charity work which embodies the teaching of my Christian upbringing and my passion to make a difference to humanity. I see myself as a mother to all because my humanitarian mission is a mission of goodwill across every race, tribe, and religion. Yes, we may have different religions, we may have different languages and different colored skin but we all belong to one human race and should care and love each other without any prejudice. As a Queen of Peace, I share the love of Christ within and outside of my faith without imposing my faith on anyone but through motivational and inspirational approach, I’ve been able to cut across all barriers because I believe in my life purpose. I believe in the right of every human being. I believe in love that sees no color or statues of rich or poor. I value every human being as God’s creation. My mission of peace has been successful through collective effort and partnership with many international humanitarian organizations. My years of active humanitarian work earned me the title of “Queen of Peace”, my gratitude to all those who nominated me and to those who crowned me with such royal honor and nobility title. I am very grateful for every single award, certifications, and management positions in so many top humanitarian Organizations that uplifted me and empowered me as a recognized humanitarian leader. For every support and encouragement, I duff my crown. To God, I give all the glory!

FWM: You have seen culture weave into the collective consciousness and fabric of every nation. Please share a few stories.

I was born and raised in a culture where only a male child carries on the family legacy. This has contributed to polygamy in Africa. Men tend to marry more than one wife in search of a male child, if their wife was unable to give them male children. It’s a culture that I grew up to see. A culture that is the foundation of my humanitarian mission to empower women. Through personal experience I suffered for being a female child and I made a conscious choice to be the voice of the voiceless not only for Africa but for the whole World where women are suffering gender inequality. If I could make something out of my life to uphold the legacy of my late father as his child which is my God given right no matter what culture and society mapped out as my place as a woman. Then any girl child should rise up and be a good citizen of their nation not withstanding gender inequality. The future is in our hands and change starts from each and every one of us. Culture or no culture, women have a right.

FWM: Share your philosophy about music and performing artists as a way to create peace?

Music is the language of the soul. Being an immigrant in Canada where cultural diversity is a part of the system. I believe and I preach cultural diversity to empower all immigrants in Canada. My passion for humanitarian mission through creativity gave me a voice in a foreign land to preach peace. I believe that exchange of cultures through music, performing arts opens the gateway to deep understanding of each other’s soul. Deep understanding yields respect for human dignity, a person’s right to individuality, collective respect for humanity and human rights for all. The amazing powerful healing gifts that come from music and cultural exchange; embedded in performing arts makes the world a better place for all especially, the generation of the youth inheriting the world in front of them.

FWM: Tell us about the “Queen of Africa.” What are the positive changes?

”Queen of Africa” is an orphanage humanitarian project in Africa registered under Monarchy of Yaya a Non-Governmental Organization. For every African woman, I stand in my divine power and authority to promote Mother Africa to empower every African soul to be proud of being an African. I quote the late King of the Zulu Nation, Late King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu who taught me the ways of the gods and what I embodied as a light bearer after seeing my music video on Youtube in 2015. According to the epic values of a spiritual Queen of Africa, King Zwelithini blessed my mission as an ordinance of the gods in alignment with God’s perfect will as a torch bearer and a divine messenger to preach peace. “Queen of Africa” is a showcase of African cultural heritage globally. I see the title as a tool that gave me an absolute audacity to proudly be a showcase of the epic values of Africa to the world. I believe, that I have the blessings of my people and the oracles of the land because I walk in the vibrational footprints of my ancestor and those who came before me with honor and integrity. My mission is an ancestral libation for Africa because it’s in our hands to tell our story. Be an impact maker in the lives of the less privilege. Be a voice for the voiceless and hope for the hopeless.

FWM: What are your long-term goals with the organization?

COVID-19 has changed the world as we know it. But, my prayer every day is to find favor in the sight of international philanthropists who will value my work and take an interest to better the lives of my people. My long-term goals is to continue preaching peace, human rights and equality till there’s a change. This is my life purpose and my long-term goal is an opportunity to touch the lives of every less privileged. Humanitarian mission is a service to God, I believe that I am divinely led. Therefore, it’s in God’s hands to define my purpose. I will never give up as long as I have breath.

FWM: As the Head of Representatives of the World Peace Committee in Canada, what is your vision for 2021?

My vision for 2021 is PEACE. Canada is blessed with an amazing Prime Minister who puts the well-being of Canadians first. I count myself blessed to call Canada home. We just lost the World President of the World Peace Committee in 202 Countries on January 18. 2021 which has put the top management operation on hold till a new president is elected. At the moment, we are commemorating the day of the death of the World President of the World Peace Committee, His Excellency, Dr. Djuyoto Suntani. As the Head of Representative of World Peace Committee in Canada, my vision for 2021 is to uphold the vision and mission of World Peace Committee by spreading message of peace. The World need peace and the time is now for everyone to be an instrument of peace.
