Meet Media Maven Ashley Little

Ashley Little is MEDIA! As the CEO/Founder of Ashley Little Enterprises, LLC, Co-Founder/Owner of T. A. L. K. Radio & TV Network, LLP, as well as the Host of the Creating Your Seat at the Table Live Radio/TV show, Ashley knows no limits when it comes to bringing new and exciting entrepreneurs as well as timely and knowledgeable information to the masses. She is also a 5X bestsellingauthor of several books including her latest release, The HBCU Experience. The North Carolina A&T State University Edition. Ashley believes in the currency of connections and encourages all of us to use our voices to create the world that we wish to see.

FWM: Ashley, thank you for taking time out for our interview! Please introduce yourself and business.

AL: Ashley Little is the CEO/Founder of Ashley Little Enterprises, LLC which encompasses her media, consulting work, writing, ghost writing, publishing, book coaching and empowerment speaking. In addition, she is a Serial Entrepreneur, Investor and 5X Best Selling Author who loves empowering women in many different walks of life to build confidence emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Also, she is the Owner and Creator of Creative Broadcasting and The Co-Founder/Owner of T.A.L.K Radio & TV Network, LLP Airs in over 167 countries, streamed LIVE on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and Periscope. Broadcasting and Media Production Company. This live entertainment platform is for new or existing radio shows, television shows, or other electronic media outlets, to air content from a centralized source.

FWM: What drew you to the media industry?

AL: I love connecting, interviewing, and collaborating with people so growing in the media industry has been an amazing accomplishment for me. I have some big goals I am working to achieve in the media industry. I love giving back and highlighting people who are doing great things in their careers, entrepreneurship, communities, and throughout the world. I believe there is room for all of us at the table. Our voices and stories need to be heard in order to be the change we want to see in the world.

FWM: How are you using your business to empower women and your community?

AL: I’m using my business to empower women and my community by creating opportunities for other women at the table. I believe in giving back and helping others. I am firm believer that we can all WIN at the end of the day collaboration over competition.

FWM: Tell us about the Creating Your Seat at the Table Live Radio/TV Show.

AL: Creating Your Seat at The Table is my baby I created this platform to highlight successes of people who are doing great things throughout the world. I interview experts who share strategies on how they have created and built their own tables through successes and failures. We have to create our opportunities and build our own tables and not wait for people to validate us or invite us to their table. I have some great things in store for this platform so stay tuned!!

FWM: What is the one piece of advice that drove you to achieve your dreams?

AL: One piece of advice that drove me to achieve my dreams was my motivation for creating legacy and understanding that no one is going to give me anything.

FWM: Do you have any upcoming events?

AL: Yes, I have the official book signing for one of my projects The HBCU Experience The North Carolina A&T State University Edition. Also, I have some more projects and collaborations I am working on to finish the fourth quarter strong. I am super excited about what the future holds for me.

FWM: What advice would you give your younger self growing up as a woman today?

AL: I would tell her to always speak up for what she believes in, our voices are powerful and to never let anyone silence you.

FWM: Do you feel that there will be an increase of women in media in years to come?

AL: Yes, I believe there will be an increase of women in media in years to come. Women are stepping up to the plate and sharing their stories and creating their own opportunities especially black women.
