FWM: Did you always have your sights set on stardom?

I come from humble beginning and was taught you can be anything, the stars are limitless, so my path in life affords me many endeavors along that path. I consider myself a gifted entrepreneur, an accomplished, Computer  Engineer, and strong community activist.

I am a woman ( African American) who is constantly evolving to be the best version of me. I have great determination, and tenacity that guides my endeavors and success.

What led you to join the unscripted relationship series,”Put a Ring On It?”

Through my journey with love and relationships I am at a point of my life where faith, security, grace, love and understanding are just a few words that describe the foundation of a successful relationship. To me, this opportunity afford me the platform to show transparency of not only black love, but how to demand respect, heal from past hurt and trauma. My participation was not to only help myself, but to shed light on the imperfections every relationship may encounter, expose what we sometimes can’t see from the inside and if both parties do the inner work to resolve the issues that are revealed not only to ourselves but to the public as well.

Each week, the couples are pushed, stretched, and tested to confront the one question they’ve been too afraid to ask: is this pairing really ready for their ‘happily ever after?’ The couples go on a series of dates with other people and possibly discover if there’s a better love connection they’ve been missing all along. By confronting these issues head-on, will the couples decide it’s time to go their separate ways, or will it finally be time to ‘put a ring on it?’

FWM: What would people be surprised to know about you?

That I am transparent about my story and journey through life. I am strong even when I am at my weakest point. I advocate for Self Care, I seek various opportunities to ensure my Emotional well-being and good physical health prevails to serve as a testimony to others struggling with similar concerns and issues.

FWM: Why are fans loving this show so much?

Fans live for the drama ( laugh) but truthfully speaking, everyone that watches can relate to a cast member in some way. The show always leaves you wanting more because somehow there’s an answer for a problem a fan themselves are going through. As real problems are aired to many women / men encountering similar issues the momentum increases in every individualized interest. Fans identify with their favorites and more important whom they can relate to!

FWM: You are an advocate for women. Tell us about the charities you support.

It is important for me to be a voice for women who have been diagnosed with endometriosis.  As a woman who continues to suffer from this disorder, it is important that I share my journey and the stories of others who have had to endured infertility and the difficulties it presents. Through my Foundation the Pink Queen B I have afforded women a platform to express their health challenges, receive group support,  professional resources for Breast  Cancer, mental health and self care .

FWM: How are you using your stardom to support your causes?

I believe strongly that this platform creates a  sisterhood of women with real issues and emotions that ultimately planting seeds to show young women that it’s ok to question your relationship if you’re not feeling and being the best version of you. I’m able to share my knowledge and experience by mentioning and coaching at organizations such as Healthy Solutions where this opportunity allows me to discuss various situations with women of color regarding relationships in a realistic manner and the serious issues we suffer with while continuing our daily lives. I am making it my responsibility to create support systems in any way possible.
